Conducting a Solar Tender Training Program for Government Engineers

Conducting a Solar Tender Training Program for Government HOD & Engineers

I had the privilege of conducting a 2-day technical training program on solar PV systems at MCMCR (Municipal Capacity Management and Research Centre), designed specifically for senior engineers and decision-makers from various government departments, including BMC, CIDCO, Environmental Engineering, Water Supply, and Mechanical & Electrical divisions.

As part of this initiative, I developed and delivered the complete course material, focusing on the technical preparation of tender documents for rooftop solar PV systems. The sessions emphasized ensuring long-term performance, reliability, and safety of PV power plants—addressing both component-level and system-level design requirements without compromising on quality.

To enable practical application, I also shared a detailed sample tender document with all participating department heads. This serves as a reference for drafting high-quality, performance-focused tenders that can ensure robust and reliable solar infrastructure across government projects.
